FIM is pleased to present the group exhibition Breathing Ruins: Still Wrestling from August 27 to October 2, 2026. The exhibition features Korean artists Donghyuk Lee and Subin Woo, showcasing approximately 20 works that include paintings, sculptures, and installation works. Rather than treating ruins as a landscape left behind, this exhibition views them as a place and concept where questions and emotions still live and breathe to explore what we can grasp and grapple with through art within that context. Rather than severing ties with what has vanished, the artists seek ways to maintain a connection with it. Donghyuk Lee continues his work by repeatedly posing questions, while Subin Woo does so by refusing to turn away from his emotions. Although they start from different media and approaches, the artists’ practices ultimately converge on the act of refusing to easily abandon a relationship with something.
