Georg Baselitz: Per Mano

Per Mano was conceived in close collaboration with Georg Baselitz before his passing. It brings together two series of monotype paintings that epitomise the final decade of his practice, the Schatten and Darkness Goldness works, never before seen in Korea. Both reveal his sustained engagement with mortality, and the shadow he found in a Titian portrait returns upside down on the left side of each canvas.
