    Friedrich Kunath, a German painter who has lived in Los Angeles since 2007, fills two floors of Pace Seoul with new paintings and drawings about wanting to be somewhere else. Roads disappear over hills, figures stand watching sunsets, and a bright Porsche sits half-sunk in a quiet pond. He has said he wants his paintings to feel like songs.
