    KIM Inbai: A Man Asleep

    Kim Inbai's sculpture circles one sensation: absence. Taking Georges Perec's novel A Man Asleep as his starting point, he works from the gap between the gaze that tries to capture someone and the person actually there. For one floor he imagined putting only his hands into a completely dark box and sculpting by touch. Elsewhere, casts taken from real road lanes run in a straight line, straight through a wall.
